I didn’t even have to use my AK. There was no ice storm, I rocked  Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza for dinner, and my cover story was published. My site and all my profiles went live, thus removing a huge monkey from my back, and I got some interesting feedback from my story.

Last night I headed to Broad Ripple for the Indy.com presents Metromix Launch Party featuring Mickey Avalon, which was good enough to justify the cumbersome name. DJ Indiana Jones was on point as always, Hum V has come into his own (though that Linkin Park ish gave me a startle), and I watched Mickey Avalon with new eyes after reading interviews with him and deciding that my first impression (hipster junkie scumbag) was wrong (hipster junkie scumbag with a heart of gold?).
