The Dockers rehearse in an immaculately kept basement filled with pop culture collectibles dating back to the ’60s and heavy on horror. The basement, like the band, is an adult’s take on a 16-year-old’s mindset and going into my Sunday afternoon visit with them I wondered how exactly I would shoot and edit a “safe for work” video of the band that penned modern classics like “P*ssy Pawn Shop” and “Sniff My Crotch.” I figured the interview with vocalist Mike Rippy aka Aztec Kotex would be just as objectionable. Luckily the band had a relatively clean song to offer (as soon as they re-learned how to play it) and Rippy only gave me filth when I asked for it. Check out my chat with Rippy in tomorrow’s Indy.com the Magazine and watch the band perform “I, Rockwell” below.

“…all the drugs in my piss” is considered a clean lyric?

It’s the best we could do.
