I know that the newspaper industry is tanking, I know our economy is on the rim of the shitter and heading southbound, I know that this is not the ideal time or place to be a creative professional but damnit if I can’t find some reason every day to be proud of what I do for a living and glad get the opportunity to do it.

Last week Konrad Marshall and I visited two local artists, guys with day jobs and families who sketch and paint compulsively and churn out really good work. I got paid to spend the afternoon doing something I love (producing video) and meet interesting people in the process. This week I started teaching Konrad how to edit video which is interesting and rewarding in a different way. At any rate I’m really proud of this particular piece and think the artists are worth checking out on Friday, March 6.
