Green Savings Indy

Written by Taffy

Indianapolis is a small town and it’s my job to know what’s going on but I am always surprised by what slips by me. Today’s surprise was a double whammy because two people I know have done something really cool and neither of them told me about it. A while back two women I know – a former co-worker named Meghan McCormick and my buddy Renee Sweany started Green Piece Indy to promote sustainable living through local commerce. I rarely go to festivals unless I am on the clock so I skipped this year’s Earth Day soiree downtown. If I had gone I would have known that Meghan and Renee put together a bitchin’ coupon book called Green Savings Indy. For $15 you get coupons for a mess of products and services from local companies who keeps it real. It’s like a Zoo Book of coupons you actually want.

Now I need to tell Meghan and Renee to give a dude a heads up once in a while…

Yes, haha. I saw a Facebook invite. E-mail the who, what, when, where and why so I can get the word out.
